How is a Certificate earned?
Once a course is completed, ie Mill 2D Online Course, just let us know that you are ready to write the Mill 2D test. Once you pass the test you will be issued the Mill 2D Certificate of completion.

What credibility does the Certificate have?
CamInstructor is an official Mastercam Partner and is therefore recognized by CNC Software to offer Mastercam Training products and services. The Certificate that is issued to customers who successfully complete each Online Course holds the Mastercam Partner status.

How does the "Ask the Instructor" feature work?
If you have a question or need some clarification while going through the course content, just click on the "Ask the Instructor" button and type in your question. You can also attach the Mastercam file you are working on. Your question will be sent to one of our Instructors and in most cases be answered within 24 hours.

What if more than one person wants to use the course?
Each person is required to purchase their own course. However we do offer quantity discounts for companies and organizations that want to train more than one person. Just email sales@caminstructor.com or call 1-877-873-6867 ext 703 for pricing.

What are the limitations of the Mastercam HLE Software?

It will not Post NC Code.

The dimensioning is limited.

 

Can the training be taken at home and at work?

Training can be done on site at work or at home as long as an internet connection is available.

 

What do I get when I order an online course?

Once an online course is purchased a username and password along with instructions will be emailed your. The username and password will provide access to the course for a period of one year. All instructional material is available on the course site, therefore nothing is shipped to the customer.

 

What is the DVD Option?

The DVD Option offers all the same benefits as the Online Option does; the only difference is that we send a DVD that contains all the course content. We have provided this option to cater to customers who have poor or no internet access.

 

Is there a Start Date and End Date for the courses?

The Courses are open entry and exit, which means that a user can start and finish any time. There is no time limit (aside from the one year access) to finish the course material.

 

Once a course has been completed can the customer go back into the course?

There is no limit on how many times a customer can complete a course or go into the course material to review previously learned material.

 

How do I contact the Instructor?

Once a user is logged into the course site they will have access to the “Ask the Instructor” button which provides them with the opportunity to ask a question and attach a file if required.
